Parents want customized curriculums for their children. Instead of fighting over the material for all kids, why not just provide prerecorded virtual classrooms that can be designed specifically to cater to the parents preferences. This would allow the kids to repeat the information as much as they want and let the parent pick what classes are best for their child's education.
The public school facilities should be the headquarters for virtual learning, sports facilities, libraries, tutoring centers, and cafeterias that feed kids at least two free meals per day. Every child under the age of 18 eats and participates. Mental and physical health facilities would be an important addition to the facilities as well. All facilities are to be secured by law enforcement trained in social services. Force is the absolute last option.
We need more programs that pay tuition for teachers that sign contracts to teach in public schools. School supplies and books must become the federal government's responsibility when the states are not providing an adequate educational opportunity to American citizens.
